did that already.. no luck :(

thanks judge!

i moved E and F to beside C and D :)

the color change was easy too.

with the cpu thing... :/.. so in your script it means % processor time.. when i'm adding the same manually it called prozessorzeit (%).

i changed all string in mine and it works now! thats coz i have a german winxp i think ;)

thanks so far

TO FIX THE CPU METER NOT SHOWING (for those who turned off your performance counters, like me):

There are two performance counters (this is an NT kernel thing) that need to be on so this can work.

PerfOS

PerfProc

They need to be enabled.

See attached image.

By the way, the program in the image is the extensible counter list. It comes with a resource kit MS supplies. It can be dl'ed directly from MS. Search for it.

lol

ok glockfan lets help you out...

first get this program Here its called samurize then u can downlaods configs and scripts in their site or even here on Neowin..any more questions and scripts and configs are plugins taht make the text or pictures come on to ur screen threw the samurize program..hope taht helps i 2 was once confused liek you but it will get better

thanks a lot! that is what i needed to know.

Hmm, anyone have the problem of it just sititng there saying "executing script" Thats all mine says for weather and it never changes. I put my zip in the quotes =/

Edit:Bingo! It seems NAV doesn't just block malicious scripts...it blocks pretty much any script with html in it. I just opend up NAV and authorized the extendedweather.vbs and now all is well :)

I notice from your edit that you went into NAv ( I assume NAV2k3?) and authorised the script, when thescript first ran I got an option to authorise, block etc .... I authorised and I still get the executing script message.

Can you please tell me how you authorised the script to work by just going into NAV? apologies as dont understand how to do it.

for the weatherextended script, is there a way for the weather to be updated like every 5minutes? My weather update like every 30-40mins or never at all until i go reload config. Thanks

The update interval is really controlled by weather.com, not by the script. The script retrieves the web page from this site every 3 minutes in my own config (the 'meter' called 'writeFile' does that), but weather.com only updates the web page every 30 minutes or so.

If the weather doesn't update at all, it implies that you don't have the 'writeFile' meter active or that the execute interval is not set.

I got everything working now :)) AWESOME MAN !! Now I am trying to customize it to my machine.. I want to add one more DRIVE SPACE meter and the Network UP/DOWN thing. WHen i used the config editor. I did file--> open--> judge.ini and when I did ADD meter and saved it.. it is becoming weird and doesnt work right :( .. Could someone tell me how to just add one more DRive SPACE meter and the network UP/DOWN. Thanks.

Hey, Judge. A nice mod you have there, but I would like just a little credit for the config I sent you to work off from.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything...  :(

No problem RM7. Full credit to you for those meters. :p

Thanks, Judge. I really appreciate it.

These are all great scripts but I have a question.

I use the Extended Weather script and was wondering if its possible to show more than one city at once? My GF is in London, Paris and Darwin over the next few weeks and would like to know the weather at each of these cities.

Also is there a script for showing internatioanl times, again showing more than one city at a time?

Thanks everyone

Noddy :D

Wellll. The easiest way would be to make a copy of ExtendedWeather.vbs for each location and configure it for that location. You would also have to modify the writerFile function to change the name of the file it uses to save the HTML in so that each version uses a different file (you should probably do a global search/replace of the string 'weather.tmp' to something else to be on the safe side). Then just create meters that use those individual scripts.

I was going to suggest that you use HoverWeather instead. But it looks like its out of action for now. Oh well.

Thanks Judge...I ahd a feeling it was going to be as complicated as that.

I normally do use hoverweather but I was hoping to have all the graphics looking kinda consistant.

One more question. Is there a way of setting up your extendedcalender without having to do it by hand. I mean is there a way of impoting your calender config into the config I've already set up for myself?

Regards

Noddy

Only by editing the .ini file with a text editor and copying the graph from my .ini to yours. Failing that you have to set up each of the 100 or so meters individually in the config editor.

Anybody know how to make samurize to run on startup?

Also, where do you get the Net stats and Winamp scripts?

I got Judge's config going and now I want to add to it. Works great so far!

put a schortcut to it in the startup folder in the start menu. i think all of the meters about your computer are built in(including networking) and i think winamp is just another meter

    • The government is not the good guy either. You propose 99% of people require that the government overreach and govern their freedom of information and privacy, while ignoring the government is made up 100% of people, of which 99% are (as you described) brain dead. You can't have both. The reality is Signal is absolutely right and the government is doing what it has always done. Ignoring that we are their boss and grabbing all the power they possibly can to make sure we aren't. Your (societies) ###### parenting is not reason enough as to why I can't have a safe platform for my data/information. Thinking the government is helping is precisely what they are targeting psychologically to take suckers like you for a ride. "Think of the children" was, has, is, and will always be a mechanism of control. In the rare occasion it's actually essential the mass consensus has always been there and it doesn't become a debate.

    • Apple would rather delay Siri AI than open iOS to rival assistants in the EU by Pradeep Viswanathan At WWDC 2026, Apple today announced a revamped Siri AI experience for iOS and iPadOS users. However, this new Siri AI experience will not be available on iPhones and iPads in the European Union when iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 launch later this year. In a detailed press release, Apple blamed the Siri delay on the EU’s Digital Markets Act, highlighting that EU regulators did not accept its proposed solutions for bringing Siri AI to the region. Consequently, there is currently no timeline for Siri AI’s availability on iOS and iPadOS in the EU. Here is what EU users will be missing due to this delay: Siri AI, Apple’s next-generation assistant powered by Apple Intelligence A new dedicated Siri app for revisiting conversations Expanded Visual Intelligence features Integrated AI-assisted writing tools Siri mode in Camera on iOS Other system-level AI features Since the new Siri experience on watchOS 27 is dependent on an iOS 27 device, EU users will also miss out on Siri AI on watchOS 27. The most frustrating part is that even developers based in the EU will not be able to test or use the new Siri AI features for their apps on iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and watchOS 27. In its press release, Apple mentioned that making Siri AI available in the EU would require the company to give other AI assistants (like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini) broad access to private user data and the ability to control installed apps. Essentially, the EU wants competing AI systems to be able to read and send messages, make purchases, access files, and perform actions across apps. To address these concerns, Apple proposed an intermediary system called Trusted System Agent. This system would have allowed other virtual assistants to access the same features as Siri AI in a safer way. However, the European Commission rejected Apple's proposals, and it is currently unclear why. The good news is that Apple stated it will continue working with EU regulators to bring Siri AI to the region. For now, however, iPhone and iPad users in the EU will have to wait. If platform gatekeepers such as Apple and Google reserve deep operating system capabilities only for their own AI assistants, rival services such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and others will be at a major disadvantage. Modern AI assistants are no longer simple chatbots. They require access to core OS-level capabilities such as reading on-screen context, interacting with installed apps, sending messages, creating calendar events, managing files, and completing user-approved actions across the device. If only Siri on iOS or Gemini on Android can access these capabilities, competing AI services will struggle to offer the same level of convenience, even if their underlying models are better. This is exactly what the European Union's DMA is trying to address. Apple and Google should be allowed to protect user privacy and security, but they should not be permitted to use those concerns as a blanket excuse to block rival AI assistants from getting fair access to core platform features. A secure permission-based framework could allow users to choose their preferred AI assistant without giving any company unrestricted access to personal data.
