Thanks to its creator who helped me with some things.

Next i pretend to add the weather thing...

I had some problems with the original ...xml.vbs script not writing the images correctly...dunno why.

Here is a very early preview of the next version of my SideBar for samurize!

I dont know if i will call it SideBar 3.2 or 4.0...

It will have mouse-over balloon tips, fade-in effect when u start it up... and many more new features!

and it will include many versions! (with mediaplayer/ without mediaplayer... and other things like that)

it will be released after the next version of samurize...

and it will be a .sam file (easy to install)

and (maybe) i make it for different resolutions (now its only 1280x1024)

(and sorry for my bad english, again!)

Install instructions:

open 'SideBar 4.0 PBETA 1.0.sam' click on import.

overwrite the files (click yes, if it ask for it...)

go to ur samurize folder, copy 'seguibd.ttf' and 'seguibk.ttf', go to ur windows/fonts folder, and paste there the two fonts.

start samurize and select ur sidebar (top bar or normal bar and normal version or the bleuish version)

edit the config, and write ur name at the top of the bar. save the config, and reload it.

the first beta is only for 1280x1024 resolution...

the final version will include more bar skins and support other resolutions!

(the final release is over 2 weeks +/- )

Ok this is the simplest samurize config that still have all information I need.

Ok on top left is gmail notfier, next is foobar status, then uptime and date. Next thing is BBleans taskbar. Clock and y'z button are made in samurize too. Last thing is altdesk.

The whole bar is made from two only colors black and white :D at 170% alpha.

Minimalism all the way
