75% of the people who download Firefox don't become active users

I agree with tsupersonic. I use FF because it is faster, less memory, etc. The extensions are great and generally I dislike the way IE & is laid out for the user. FF is much easier to use.

Cant believe that people arent willing to experiment with new browsers, design wise firefox, opera etc are so much versatile and have more features, while looking nicer and have great ease of use.

I always used to find IE slow and not worth using to be honest.

Think people are either too scared to try things or try things but prefer what they are used to which explains why people dont become active users of FF, although it is a better browser.

I downloaded FF just to play with it.

Its secondary to Maxthon on my PC (like IE7).

My opinion of FF is the plugins (mostly free compared to IE's) and plugins system (more stable, reliable than Maxthon's) of FF are first-class!

But I'll stay with Maxthon as primary browser.

I can believe that, unless (like me, unfortunately) you get dependant on extensions I really don't see a reason to use Firefox. If the Opera team wrote a decent extension framework I'd switch to that straight away.

I am using Firefox for some special need, as checking 10 email accounts per 10 miniute with FF extension. But as Firefox eat most of my memories, most time I use IE7 and my product "adblock pro" to speed up browing.

Well, I downloaded Firefox as well and I just use it when I remember where is the icon... Or porn... With four months I have used it about four-six times.

ive only used IE twice, once to dl FF exe and to check my mail. after that ive been strictly on FF and ive been using Opera as a secondary backup, incase anything goes wrong. same goes with my family, they only use Opera. ive set out the rules about IE= 100% chance of malware, once i said the word ''virus'', its a done deal ;)
