Graphic Designers Need For Tatoo

Question

Alright, I am going to get a Tatoo in the next week or so, but I don't have the exact design. I know that I want it to be of a maple leaf (as in the Canadian flag). However, a simple maple leaf is really boring, I need something more, like:

-- a sylized maple leaf

-- shadows to give it a 3D look

-- a sketched maple leaf

something, that gives it some character and is not a boring plain ole maple.

I have spent the last few years trying to find a design that I like, but haven't come up with anything.

So, I am applealing to you guys with graphic design abilities.

It is going to be about a 2-3" tatoo in black. I am involved in technology, so if you can hint about that in the design that would be awesome.

So, what's in it for you? Well, I will take the design that I pick and put it in my neowin sig with credit to the author and indicate that it is tatooed on my body.

This shouldn't take very long for acomplished graphic designers....

yeap Bob's right about the bands...most simply wrap around but dont touch. also i heard that on bones and such they hurt...for example the top of your foot would hurt. i got mine on my upper bicep..so since theres mostly muscle there i didnt have a prob with it at all.

mat987 -- Can you keep tweakin' that design a little.

Can you create a more blurred effect of the binary pattern, sorta like the Matrix code (i.e. not so clean and crisp).

There's my attempt at a simple, yet clean redesign of the "Matrix leaf".

I made the shape myself, gaussian blurred, and used levels to make the edges crisp. I think it came out fairly decent. If anyone wants the PSD of it for use of their design, be my guest, just mention my name if you do use it. =)
