Web Browsers in GPU names.

Recommended Posts

Well this may sound weird but I've tried a few web browsers and figured the fastest slowest and moderately good loading times and connections.

Ill start with every system running windows os's Internet Explorer:

Internet Explorer 7 would be like a GeForce 8500, its not the fastest but it can load pages while using other task the also need the internet or internet connection.

Mozzila Firefox (my favorite): Mozzila would be a 8600 gts when your only using mozzila as the internet task, other task's like torrents, downloading and that slow it down but it still does the best outa all (for me) of loading pages.

Maxthon and Opera: MX and Opera are about the same they perform as 8800 gts when nothing that needs internet is being used but when you have internet consuming task's they die... and become a 7200

Dont get all ****y to this is just my opion so dont go slit your throat cause i insulted maxthon or w/e.

Whats this thread for?

You can't give GPU ratings to Browsers if they are based on your opinion. GPU ratings are given per factual speeds not based on opinion of what renders nicest or what is easiest to use etc..

You need to do some proper research in to the browser speeds and then give appropriate ratings.

I think it makes sense, given his experiences he stated what he thinks. While I have never seen Opera die in highly consuming tasks, maybe he did. However, insulting comments were not warranted :no:

Agreed, the poster obviously thought it would benefit people to know these references to Video Cards, rather then throwing random numbers at us. Then again, I do also think it was lame lol. But I guess some people need to learn things through comparison, however I do not..

If I have 2 copies of firefox running, is that SLI?

I guess that would be SLI. Get 4 copies running for quad SLI.

@Trixx - Ignore him.
