SamNeeds
Afternoon all, Can you recommend any skins for VLC? I'm looking for something that is similar to the skin which is used in full screen, the black and white looking one.
.kvn
From VLC website Please note that current releases of VLC do not support Skins on Mac OS X. Unless someone here knows an alternative way I guess you have to stick with the default skin.
John S. Veteran Posted August 27, 2007 Veteran Share Posted August 27, 2007 Yeah the OSX version doesn't support skins, man I wish it did, my Winamp craving could finally be quenched. :D

krmathis
You can always edit the MainMenu.nib file with 'Interface Builder'...
NuevoHuevo
In answer to the original poster, you'll be happy to know that there is a way to use skins -- or themes -- with the Macintosh version of VLC. However, there are currently only a few skins available for the Macintosh version of VLC. I have confirmed that they work with VLC 1.0.5 on Snow Leopard. You can find more information regarding skins for VLC on the Macintosh on the VideoLan website at the following URL: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=67163&p=248779&hilit=macintosh#p223389 I hope that the above info is helpful to some of you.
