dobie
OK. On my work computer, there are four user profiles that log on into windows. I want to set Firefox as my default browser, but when I try that ,it also changes the default browsers for the others users.. and the people that log on in this computer prefer Internet explorer.... so is there any way to just change my browser without harming the others users? Salgoth
I believe it is supported by Windows - that's the whole point of user profiles after all! http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa969375.aspx

English Bob
I was just searching for the solution to this question for myself, and I ended up here. :) If you're using XP, try this: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/defaultbrowser.htm I haven't tried this myself - I need something that works on Windows 2000 - so I can't say if it's reliable or not. But it's free...
