My iPod arrives tomorrow(!) and whilst I'm partly looking forward to getting it, and re-installing iTunes, I remember it being an absolutely huge resource hog, as well as installing a load of additional, un-needed junk like Quicktime, iPodHelper, iTunesHelper etc that consistently run in the background.
I'd like to avoid this if possible, my new PC arrives today(!) and I want to keep it junk free as much as possible :)
