GusinCA Share Posted October 3, 2007 Hello all, I have a Motorola DCH3416, but the HD space inside seems puny. So I bought a BUSlink 400GB external hard drive, with SATA, USB 2.0 and Firewire connections. So, the SATA cable that came with it doesn't seem to fit into the eSATA plug on the back of the cable box. 1.) Do I need to connect the SATA connection, or will it work with the Firewire or USB 2.0 connection just as well? 2.) If I do need to connect the SATA, where do I get the cable that will connect the two? 3.) Once connected, how do I get the cable box to recognize the external drive? Thanks!
