kodina
Hi, I've been having this annoying problem ever since installing the latest IE 7 update recently. When I open IE, the location of the links toolbar appears as per the initial default settings (whereas I always prefer to have the links toolbar just below the address bar). However despite changing this, when I close IE and then reopen it, the links toolbar again appears at it's default location. Can someone help. Thanks. s3pHiX
So you are basically saying, that when set the taskbars to the location that you want it's not holding them??? Once you set the taskbars, have you checked the option to lock the taskbars in place, once there set to where you want them to be?? You may also want to check for browser hijacks, using Hijackthis <-- check on the toolbars, and make sure nothing is attacking you IE (Internet Explorer) Files. Hope this helps, if it does not resolve your issue, let me know, I can look into this further for you. Thanks,
kodina
Hi N3o_v0rT3X. Thanks for the reply. This one has logic and here's why: I was thinking if a re-install and just out of the blue, did the following and the problem appears to have gone: 1. Did a Right Click, disabled Menu Bar, and Closed IE 2. Opened IE 3. Did a Right Click, disabled 'Links', and Closed IE 4. Opened IE 5. Did a Right Click, disabled 'Status Bar', and Closed IE 6. Opened IE 7. Did a Right Click, enabled Menu Bar , and Closed IE 8. Did the same thing for 'Links' and 'Status Bar' and bingo...... Doesn't make any sense to me but it worked. Regards.
