Portable Firefox on a USB drive probably is your best bet if they'll let you plug in a USB drive. All the installation, preferences and probably the cache are on the drive and when you unplug it, it goes with you.

Yep i got that thats what i'm using, but we use something called Bluecode, if i try to use anything other then IE6 it will not let you. But if the browser reported as IE 6 it might work.. it;s a long shot, but i'm willing to try it out.

I know i read some ehere before to make firefox report as The wii browser, to you could hit the nintendo will store.. and that made me thing on doing this.

What exactly is Bluecode?

If you are trying to change the User Agent String for websites or intranet webservers that don't like the competition, get the User Agent Switcher plugin.

If Bluecode is some sort of executable program whitelist, I'm not sure how you'd make Firefox execute like Internet Explorer and report to the OS in such a manner that it would run.

user agent Switcher did the trick! thanks man!

Circumventing network security policy? Good excuse to get yourself terminated if you don't like the job... don't get caught :shiftyninja:

Well it;s alittle more complicated then that.. I am the Data Ceneter and i monitor Security, but i don't have control over the servers. I'm just the NOC monkey. So no red flags get put up on my end for doing this.

12 hour shifts, and we are told to browse and keep yourself active. Just using IE is a pain, when it;s not your normal browsing habits.
