Computer Barbie
I tried a System Restore. I have Vista. If I reinstall IE 7, will it fix the problem? Advice? Thanks
Tom Swiss
First step need to try, "tools" - "manage addons" - disable all unneeded addons. Second step to try, "tools" - "internet options" - reset your internet explorer settings.
Computer Barbie
I only have necessary Add On's like Spybot. I looked over my IE settings. They are exactly as they should be. Thanks for replying.
StevoJD
A lot of add-on(s) like Norton's Anti-Phishing tool (and a few other security add-ons) slow down the closure of IE7 by a few seconds. That's the only slow down I've noticed. Maybe try disabling Spybot?
Tom Swiss
Agree with StevoJD. You'd better to disable all addons to find if IE not slow down for ever. Then enable one by one. Some addon will cause IE slow down, and addons conflict with each other will do the same thing too.
