)-(orus
IE7 addresses a lot of the issues people have been complaining about in IE, since...well...forever. Don't get me wrong there are things that don't stricktly speaking conform quite to standards, but so do FF, Opera and just about any other browser you want to praise. IE7 really levels the plaing field in terms of compliance, developing cross browser has suddenly become a hell of a lot easier. I love the IE7 interface v. simple and streamlined. way2quik
i have problems loading this page with IE7... http://www.animepaper.net/ . I never had a problem when I used IE6 back then. and i have no problems using FF. Something to do with some scripts and how SLOW it loaded on IE7. i love ie6 over ie7, other than tabs, but i still prefer ie7 > ff.
Max Veteran Posted November 30, 2007 Veteran Share Posted November 30, 2007 I use IE7 98% of the time. I use Firefox and Safari for web design compatibility. I like Firefox, but it takes ages to start up.
Mordkanin
I don't care for FF on Vista. I prefer IE7.
Deathray
For me... firefox seems more responsive than IE 7.0 Also, the firefox interface doesn't seem as bulky, and i prefer that... slim and trim lol
Tha Bloo Monkee
I like Firefox, but it takes ages to start up. Huh? Something's wrong there. It fires up for me instantly. Anyway, I'm 99.9% Firefox user, I ditched IE back in 2004 when I found out about Firefox :) I can't stand IE now (although yes, it is better now compared to the IE6 days!) I like tabbed browsing the most (although that's standard these days) and also, the customization options. I can make it look just the way I want :) (IE7 isn't quite as flexible in this area)
Thomas_H
I use Firefox mainly but i have IEtab installed so just in case a site requires IE, i can switch to IE on the fly. This is my situation too. I use Opera on my really old desktop though since it's lighter but mainly it's like this: 1st: FireFox 2nd: Opera EDIT: FF opens for me quickly too unless it's installing updates. Exactly how long is it?
Chosen One
I use to use IE7 all the time but just recently I started to use Firefox more... think I will make it default browser
Andre S. Veteran Posted December 3, 2007 Veteran Share Posted December 3, 2007 I can definitely understand why a web developper would hate IE and never use it, but from the internet surfer point of view (me), IE7 simply works, and it has a fast, clean interface. And on the casual moment when it's too slow or doesn't work, I use Opera which is light, fast and doesn't give me any problem. I've nothing against Firefox, I just don't see the need for it personnaly.
Bawx
I don't even have IE7 installed. It's so bulky an laggy.

BilliShere
yes true firefox is more laggy and bulky.. but i love those extensions and the excellent themes and interface mod-ibility. opera is the best. but ie7 is good also. i still use firefox

1Frothy
I'm back with Internet Explorer 7. After years with Firefox I realised that (IMHO) Firefox is buggier and I get sick of the stream of new versions fixing some really obvious flaws that the developers of Firefox should have tested for. I now use Internet Explorer 7 and IE7Pro Addon, the combination work great for me. I don't even have IE7 installed. It's so bulky an laggy. Funny that's exactly the description I'd give Firefox. :/
TinaD
Firefox is my main browser, but I use IE7 for those IE only sites.
Lyric
Firefox is my main browser, butI use IE7 for those IE only sites. I use Firefox 100%, only time I will use ie7 is if its an Internet explorer only site and I absolutely need to access said site. Firefox for me loads up faster, and just generally runs smoother for me than Ie7.
r47xdy88
I use FF full time but I have nothing against IE in fact I see them as quite comparable but the extensions on Firefox win it for me. :) You can always use the IE Tab extension. Unto Darkness
Guys check this out! Microsoft claims that IE 7 is actually more secure than Firefox! Source Well according to me, Firefox is just WAY overrated. It is WAY slower than IE 7.
Ethere
IE7 is almost perfect for me. There are certain times that I have websites open in multiple tabs. It doesn't go back to the last active tab if I close one. Other than that unfortunate problem, I have no issues. I actually don't have any other browser installed on my system at all at the moment. Yes, I have tried them all.
b0m8er
I use IE7 since it came out. It has all I need, and I see no reason to get another browser, when built-in one works flawlessly
APH-Alex
I'm currently using Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 2 (3.0b2) and it's the greatest ever. Smooth, quick, responsive, very light and not bulky at all, and adds support for .aPNG's! (animated PNGs, which are way better than GIFs because they support semi-transparent pixels and are just basically the amazing-ness of PNGs but can be animated, so no 256 colour limit!)
