+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted December 15, 2007 Subscriber² Share Posted December 15, 2007 It was because IE6 was so basic. I'm still using it because I'm used to it. I used to do web design and be into the Validation etc, but now I couldn't give a rats arse (It's never going to be followed, lets just face it). I could make do with IE7 though. It's good. Extensions are another good thing though. They're nice..
mshepp
What made you decide to try, and then keep Firefox as your main browser? Was it a specific feature or something that your previous browser did or did not do? Tabbed browsing and even though IE offers this now i have grown attached to Firefox and will keep using it. macmax
IE had a lot of security issues. Opera was still a paid software. Firefox was the alternative I could see. Started using it. Came across various extensions which have become an integral part of my browsing. Firefox FTW!
