dud
In Maxthon, I can type a single letter in the address bar and it knows what search engine to use. For example, if I type: g pacific northwest = I get a google search for pacific northwest n crysis demo = I get a newzbin search for crysis demo i flowers = I get a google image search for flowers Is there something in Firefox that does this, or better yet, does Firefox have the ability already? Attached pic shows more detail.
Zoom7000
Firefox does have this ability built in already. The older versions (1.5-) used to come with a few built in. However, it's not the case now. Anyway, to create your own, right click on a search bar on the page you wanna create the custom search for, click on "Add a keyword for this search" and you can add it in there. If you go to http://www.commandline.co.uk/searchurl/index.html you can add them in to IE7 as well.
