Summer Glau to Appear on BBT! (Source)

This has been a big week for The Big Bang Theory's nerd herd. First, they score their best ratings ever, and now they're getting to rub elbows with frakkin' Summer Glau!

The Sarah Connor Chronicles siren will play herself in the March 9 episode, the set-up of which already has me ROFWLing: A train trip to San Francisco takes a major detour when Leonard, Sheldon, Wolowitz, and Raj discover that their favorite sci-fi actress in all the land is on board. But the fanboy frenzy quickly gives way to a heated mass debate (tee-hee) when they realize one of them will have to approach her -- but who?

It's not too difficult to figure out how this cheeky cross-over came about, provided you know this little detail: The Big Bang Theory and Sarah Connor Chronicles (which returns this Friday) are both produced by Warner Bros.

Well, what happened between them in this latest episode is a bit further than anything else, so they can't just shrug it off. Or I hope they can't just shrug it off.

Yeah, he "caught" feeling for her

He shrugged off an entire successful girlfriend, so I don't really know if the writers have some sense of purpose with the things that they do.

Leonard's mother annoyed the crap out of me :/

That was the point?

^ me too. And she would be better as the mother of sheldon...

Sheldon wouldn't be that odd if his mother was like that. It would be the family style.

Anyone else think that CBS should do a Big Bang Theory/How I Met Your Mother crossover? I wonder what Barney would think when he meets Kaley. Hmmm

Don't think it would work. The series have totally different tones. TBBT is all about "cartoon" style storylines and has no regard for continuity, the characters are over-the-top exaggerations put in surreal/nerdy/geeky situations. Don't see how Barney would work in there. And then would they simply ignore the emotional scarring that comes with it?

CBS to ask for 2 More Seasons of BBT

CBS is to sign a 'mega' renewal of The Big Bang Theory and Two And A Half Men, reports Variety.

Three new seasons of Two And A Half Men will reportedly be ordered, while The Big Bang Theory will secure a two-season deal.

The renewal will take Men into its ninth season and Big Bang into its fourth.

The deal is rumoured to be part of a settlement between Warner Bros. TV and CBS following their dispute over Men last year, which resulted in a lawsuit being filed.

The Big Bang Theory currently airs on CBS on Mondays at 8pm, while Two And A Half Men goes out at 9pm.

    • What about it? The old MV2 version will not work.
    • Wow, this is some Iran, Cuba, China, Russia, North Korea-level citizen surveillance right there, the UK's government has gone totally mad. Power trip indeed, their politicians are totally out of control about this issue. They're starting to cross limits I wouldn't have imagined, to be honest. British people, fight this, your privacy and freedoms are in danger. Vote this government out of power.
    • Nintendo unveils The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and it's out this year by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Confirming many rumors, Nintendo officially announced a remake of the classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the very first game in the series that offered a 3D experience to fans. Unlike previous remasters and re-releases, the originally 1998-released fantasy adventure game is being remade from the ground up for the Nintendo Switch 2 console this time. "The Nintendo 64 classic returns for a new generation in 2026, reborn exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2," said the company about today's announcement. While Nintendo didn't go into much detail about the project, other than confirming its existence, we did get a small teaser trailer at the Direct presentation today. Catch the footage below: With a tapestry as the backdrop, the first half of the trailer tells the tale of Hyrule, the Kokiri forest dwellers, and their fairy companions. It goes onto introduce "one particular boy" without a fairy, which then cuts to a sleeping Link, showcasing what looks like the new art style being introduced in the remake. Unfortunately, no gameplay or a look at the world has been revealed yet. The game originally released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1998, offering a time travel adventure where Link is once again going up against the evil king Ganondorf. The hugely well-received title has only been playable on modern Nintendo consoles using the Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 doesn't have a firm release date yet, but Nintendo says it will be released sometime in 2026. Considering just how many publishers are avoiding the Grand Theft Auto VI release nowadays, the company may copy that strategy and also opt to bring this out before November this year.
