Neillithan
Okay, so I am using the extension Tab Mix Plus. I have it set to open a tab next to the current one. This is all fine and dandy for opening a tab from links within pages, because it's a bit more tidy than having tabs open out of order like they normally would without any tab extensions... ...but when I want to open a tab from the address bar or the search bar, or from a link "outside" of firefox (instant messenger or something), it opens the tab up next to the tab that was last selected. This is a problem because I have to manually drag the tab to the end of my open tabs. It's a bit more orderly that way, and helps me to remember which group of tabs is what, or which tabs are newest. etc. Is there an option, or extension that will allow opening "new" tabs at the end of my currently open tabs for the address bar and search bar and outside of firefox? I'm totally into Firefox and I "get" how tabs work, so telling me that Firefox already does by default means that you're too lazy to read more than 3 sentences of my post. (Estimation). So, please only respond with accuracy instead of haste because that would be more helpful. Thanks in advance, -Neil
Salgoth
The two behaviors kind of clash. New tab or external application tab behavior is set in the first option group in TMP. However, the behavior of ALL new tabs is set in the next group. Your best option I think would be to check with the writer and request the feature for a future release: http://tmp.garyr.net/ Also there's an awesome user guide for TMP at: http://www.tidycms.com/ocean/extensions/Ta...us/TMPHelp2.pdf
