American Ninja
Now that the public can make their own PS3 themes I thought I would make a thread so people can post their PS3 themes in so people can download them. Post or PM me the info to your theme like a screenshot, download link, theme name and file size and who is was made by and I will add it to the list :) A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S Sfere Created by: KoL Download Link: http://-kol.deviantart.com/art/Sfere-PlayS...Themes-69323778 File Size: 3.2 MB Screenshot: T U V W X Y Z Edited November 9, 2007 by American Ninja

KoL Veteran Posted November 8, 2007 Veteran Share Posted November 8, 2007 ^THEMES. I gots 'em.Is there some sort of theme making app? well you have to make the icons, wallpapers, etc., manually edit the XML then drag the xml to the exe and it will compile the theme. Here are the files. http://au.playstation.com/support/ps3/faqs...heme_v101-E.zip

You just have to drag and drop the xml in your folder theme to the exe and it will compile it. After it compiles you need to create a THEME folder in your USB. This is the structure of the folder /PS3/THEME/theme.p3t From the read me: Building a Theme File with p3tcompiler Either type the following at the command prompt: p3tcompiler.exe sample1\sample.xml or drag-and-drop an XML file onto the p3tcompiler.exe icon. A theme file with file extension "p3t" will be created. Preview (how to install the themes) 1. Place the theme file in the /PS3/THEME/ directory of a Memory Stick or USB storage, and connect it to PLAYSTATION?3. 2. Select "Settings" > "Theme Settings" > "Theme" in the system software and install a theme file from the recording media. 3. Select "Settings" > "Theme Settings" > "Theme" in the system software again. A list of theme files will be shown in the option menu. 4. Select a theme file and "Apply". This theme will be applied to the screen. More info about themes here http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Network/...date.html#theme

If a Mac can't execute an .exe, how on earth are we meant to drag the XML to the .exe to compile the file?

Macrike
No you cant do that with a Mac. This is for Windows only. Ah, sorry. I misread your previous post, thinking you was saying for Mac users to drag the XMl to the EXE file. lol So, I really doubt Sony will release a Mac compiler, which is rubbish. I hope someone can do a Mac compiler. T_T
