Quillz
This link ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ contains the latest ones. Make sure you backup your bookmarks since thats probably the most important. Hmm... Seems exactly the same as before. It has the new FTP browser style and a few other graphical changes, but otherwise, the overall theme is just as it was before. No new theme here. Joel
Ok guys, my biggest concern, is it really worth upgrading to FF3?? I haven't seen a whole lot of changes that are going to make a big difference, than what is already in FF?? Not yet, because it's not even close to being released as a finished product. brentaal
I've tried it a week ago and my menu bar kept getting freezed after loading some pages... The menu bar letters turned to gray, and dropdown menus wouldn't appear... Anyone else experienced this sort of a bug, and if so, did it get fixed? bangbang023 Veteran Posted November 17, 2007 Veteran Share Posted November 17, 2007 Please just avoid the nightlies if bugs are going to annoy you. I use the nightlies and am willing to deal with some of the issues as a means of looking for others than I can report as needed.

Digitalx
hope they improve the history and past visited URL system because it's displaying order and slowness is pretty bad when i tried alpha 8. the URL bar also seemed to have bugs around the placing in 2 you quickly sometimes click halfway in the URL bar and half out it works fine it selects then carry on typing as usual in in 3 it flashed and didn't select properly and while browsing in a hurry got a bit annoying on top of the others i never submitted bug reports though just checking it out not really testing. Bawx
I installed Beta 3, and when I came here, the front page looked like this. Maxthon won't let me make it like that, even when I click Category view. Can anyone help? I'm talking about the "Latest forum activity" box on the left like that. ZonoBurk
Uh you can install 3.0 over 2.0.0.9 and still have access to 2.0.0.9.

Calum Veteran Posted November 25, 2007 Veteran Share Posted November 25, 2007 Ah, thank you. Why didn't I think of that? lol. Makes a lot of sense! :D
ZonoBurk
Install it in a different folder from the stable. I didn't really change folder names. I just installed over 2 and I have 2 icons on the desktop (and 2 installations in Add/Remove Programs), and can use either one. Not at the same time however. BoDEAN
Wasn't impressed with the beta. Kind of looked just like the current release. Oh well.

Calum Veteran Posted November 27, 2007 Veteran Share Posted November 27, 2007 I installed it the exact same way as you two and it worked with both of them. However when I uninstalled only the beta, it messed up my Version 2 installation and I couldn't use it.
