soniqstylz
Holy random necropost, Badman. At home, we either had a Commodore 64 or Atari 2600, can't remember which. I know it had a joystick. But I grew up an arcade gamer, so probably Asteroid or something like that. I know that we had a Donkey Kong Jr. table-top arcade at home as well. plasmarox
For me, it was probably wolfenstein 3d, or it could have doom, or maybe even the very first sonic on the sega.

basques
The first game I played was a version of pong on my friend's Atari 2600. The first game I played on my own console was, either Barbarian or Boulderdash on my Commodore 64. I guess I was 7 years old when I got that one. Feels like ages ago now, but I still remember fighting for it with my brother.

3rdDin8
Alex Kidd in Miracle World (Sega master system 2) Same here, good times... Actually, that was on the first SMS console. The SMS II was a re-design of the original and had Alex Kidd built-in.
Cy-Kill
The SMS II was a re-design of the original and had Alex Kidd built-in. I know that, and the SMS II was an ugly console, I prefered the original, with the card slot, cause some of the card based games were better than their cartridge based cousins. And I'm talking OLD school... you hit the square dot, and while it's traveling across the T.V. screen you go to the kitchen and make some popcorn. Rock on!
