Your first ever game

Recommended Posts

My first games are:

Game Boy Color: V-Rally

PC: Roller Coaster Tycoon and Mech Warrior 3 (we got them in a pack)

PS1: Medievil 2

PS2: UT and The Bouncer (we got them with the console)

PS3: MotorStorm

But my first ever game was V-Rally, as the GameBoy Color was my first game console. :)

I think it was Alex the Kid on the master system.

Not the first game I played but Alex Kidd was awesome, Alex Kidd in Shinobi World was the one I played the most round my friends house. I don't really remember the first game I ever played.

On a side note, did anyone ever have this watch? haha, I don't think I've even thought for years until just now.

Either Flight Simulator 1.0 (B&W ftw!) or a silly math game called googol on an old IBM computer someone gave our family (I was so young at the time, I don't remember the specs - except it had two 5.25 floppy disk drives).

First one I remember was probably some Pong type game on the Atari2600 that I borrowed from my cousin. But gaming didnt take off properly until I got a NES bundled with super mario bros, zelda etc... good times :)

I received a NES for christmas when I was a kid and I got Mario Bros 1 with Duck Hunt

It was sooooo awesome

same here, I had played some atari before that but this was the first thing that was mine. Same christmas I got a 13" color tv for my bedroom so I was the man cause I had it setup in my own room.

You'll notice I said 13" color tv because at the time most tvs that small where black and white.

<edit> To claify this was x-mas 1985.

When I was about 6 years old, my life changed - my Dad bought us a Master System!! Mega Drives were around, so people were selling SMS's for cheap :)

First game I played on the was probably Alex Kidd in Miracle World... I loved that game...

Shortly after, I managed to persuade Santa to buy me an original Gameboy with Mario - I used to be able to complete the game with my eyes closed, though now I struggle to complete it at all... My 1337 skillz are waning!

Edit: Oh, and of course Tetris :)
