blackice912 Veteran Posted November 21, 2007 Veteran Share Posted November 21, 2007 Apparently there is no easy way to go back, after you beat the game, and get all of the flags...hmm. Why not? That's what I'm doing right now.
Dirk
How other than having to watch the credits and stuff all over again.
stanley porkchop
How other than having to watch the credits and stuff all over again. What? Explain your question better. Unless I'm missing something, this doesn't make sense. Just hop in the Animus. And then go where you need to go.
Dirk
When I load the game after beating it I have to watch the credits and everything again before I can do anything in the Animus.
Qumahlin
Apparently there is no easy way to go back, after you beat the game, and get all of the flags...hmm. Did you stay past the credits? If you did its actually very easy as you can get right back on the animus then make sure you do something in the animus that saves your game like collecting a flag
Samboini
Just completed. Nice ending, leaves you wanting a whole lot more though.

If you did its actually very easy as you can get right back on the animus then make sure you do something in the animus that saves your game like collecting a flag that doesn't work (for me at least), if i say continue in the main menu it takes me to the animus menu and i can't continue, only pick a memory block i already played and restart it. Remysaus
pretty lame, especially because every block starts of with a long talk with al mualim before you can do anything.

Brandon
pretty lame, especially because every block starts of with a long talk with al mualim before you can do anything. Its part of the storyline.... If you want a pure shooter, get Halo or CoD2 QUESTION: So I'm at the beginning and played for 2 hours. For some reason whenever I walk in front of any of the guards, it turns red and they chase me. Any way to stop that?

Brandon
If you in the "kingdome" you have to Blend Oh alright. Another one. Can you talk to people, like regular NPC's? Not sure if this is like oblivion or not...

No, only certain people can be talked to. You'll overhear conversations and interact with them in other ways, however.
DarkTruth77
I approve of this post.Assassin's Creed is one of the best games this gen. Definitely the best free roaming game I've ever come across. Story was fantastic. Ending was great as well. One question: Anyone figured out the word puzzles on the floor on the Animus room? I haven't put too much time into figuring them out yet. Just read the letters from bottom to top, rows left to right. you'll see it. As what is the purpose of all those things i don't know. I think is just a teaser for possible future games.
neoadorable
yeah at first the crusaders always come after you. they then stop, but when you progress you'll get so good that fighting off ten guys'll be not a big problem.
gigapixels Veteran Posted November 26, 2007 Veteran Share Posted November 26, 2007 Yeah at first I was kind of annoyed by fighting, but now I love it. I don't run away very often anymore, and instead I turn and fight them all. It's extremely fun.
bangbang023 Veteran Posted November 28, 2007 Veteran Share Posted November 28, 2007 Just got the game today. It starts off slowly and there's a lot of dialog. I hope the action picks up. Right now I'm on horseback for the first time. The who idea of this being a trip through genetic memory and not actually happening was unexpected

Thank god lol. It was either this or Mass Effect and since I already have my sci-fi fix from Halo, I decided to go with AC.

I seriously recommend Mass Effect at some point because its great! Assassin's Creed was good but there is no reply value to the game once you have beaten it. Green_Eye
Im not sure that me telling you all how this game is awesome will contribute much but let me tell you its freaking awesome the combat is perfection I always dreamed of a game where Sword Fighting in particular felt authentic and here it is. Combat is among if not THE best I have ever experienced. For all of you that are having trouble scoring the counter kills it could be down to two things your not that far into the game or failing that maybe leaving it until their sword hits yours is a little bit too late try pressing x as the guard begins to swing his sword maybe? neoadorable
the counter hits are fine, it's the combos that are a pain in the posterior to pull off. does it pick up? well yes and no...lots of action but it's all the same. still, AC is like having the same good thing over and over again...gets a bit boring but still, it's a good thing. I agree with neo, its fun for awhile, then you end up doing the same thing over and over again which can be boring.
