TurboTuna
I went to install the 10.4.11 update, it failed. i went to reboot and it hung at the desktop. I held the power button and it turned off, now it won't start up :( If i enter verbose mode, it shows the following: Load of /sbin/launchd, errno 88, trying /sbin/mach_initLoad of /sbin/launchd failed, errno 88 Can't Find anything on that errno. I tried clearing the NVRAM and booting into single usermode, but nothing worked. Any ideas?
flodo
I have exactly the same problem. What does clearing the NVRAM mean. Pushing apple-alt-p-r at start? Also tried to do s.th. with my install dvd but it does not react at all. flodo
gnuman
Just a quick question, do you have BootCamp installed? If so, that is your issue and you will have to reinstall OS X. MacNN
