 My babies :p

Yeah the Duke got a lot of stick and hence why MSFT introduced the Controller S when it launched in Japan. Duke is the best though, fits my large hands perfectly.

...

How can't you like the duke people?? BEST CONTROLLER EVER! lol (I'm actually serious tho)

You guys must have the hands of Shrek :/ I thought it was too big and my hands are pretty big compared to those I socialize with :p

I like the design of both Xboxs (green ftw :p) but I can see why others don't like the original. Just find it amusing Sony fanboys all of a sudden love large black consoles when they b*tched for 4 years about it :p PS2 original is ugly as hell, but the Slim is very nice. PS3 original = ass, hopefully the Slim version is nicer :p

That 360 case mod is awesome too :woot:

Fat ****** that controller :p

Are those the creative speakers listed here? - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/97518

If so it's the same set I use on my PC ;)

Yeah im going to buy the case mod and see how it looks. I'll post some pics in a week or two!

Indeed those are my speakers :)

And yeah, "don't be dissing my duke or I'll eat you", or however it went :p lol. I love it though, wish the logo lit up in the middle, would be awesome. Same goes for the logo on the Original Xbox. At least they did it for the 360 :D

just make sure you have a tiny ass screwdriver or something to pop the tabs off enough to open the case in the first place... it's a beotch.

And what was your reason for opening the case?

Mentally I move the (in this case nonexistant, but it's there in spirit) hyphen to the right.

'a tiny-ass screwdriver' to 'a tiny ass-screwdriver'

Okay, OT, but I've been tihnking about that principle all day.

The main problem people had with the old xbox massiveness was wired controls. They had to have a breakoff thing to stop it being pulled off the shelf when you got frustrated with it and threw the control. I mean, if the old one of those fell from a shelf 1 metre up, with a (small) kid standing underneath. :x

I never managed to get the duke, by the time I got an xbox they were phased out.

Sony thought 'hey, we have wireless now, we can make the ps3 fat' and made the behemoth. It looks cheaper than the x360, too plasticky in my opinion. And loads of vent fins.

What I like though is looking at the old speculation as to what these 'next gen' consoles would look like. Back 3-4 years ago now, to me and a few others on my schoolbus it looked like a big shiny silver toaster. Now it's a massive black matte toaster. How times change ;)

And the psp, remember the rave articles back 3-4 years at least saying 'The psp will look like a gameboy colour, only it will be ps1 grey and have the dpad and the 4 other buttons, and shoulder buttons.'

Well, not rave, but artists impressions were like that.

Ooh, I could reminisce for hours!

Don't worry, it wasn't mine :p I'd never have one myself. A buddy of mine runs a computer shop and a clients 360 died and apparently it had some limited edition case or something (looked like the regular one to me, it was before the elite) so they went and got a new one and me and my buddy switched the cases for the guy...
