M/\TT
Hiya, I'm well used to opening Firefox and clicking tabs to open 3-4 websites I check daily.. This was all well and good on Vista running version 2.0 of Firefox. Even updating it to version 2.0.0.9 seemed just fine and dandy... However... Now when I open Firefox and click the tab for Neowin it loads nothing and I just get done.. even entering the full address will not open the Neowin forums :( I've re-installed twice and ran CCleaner each time on files and the registry, even a reboot before re-installtion doesn't help. Is something corrupt? I miss using Firefox.. I'm posting this using IE. Help!
EL1TE
Clean the Cache/Cookies of Firefox If doesn't work, create a new Windows Account and install Firefox in the new Account, then see if it fix the problem.
M/\TT
Hey, thanks for the reply. Tried both of those, no joy :( Firefox just updated to the new version... Still the same problem. Help :( Update - fixed it :) Well... seems it was Admuncher. Thought about what might cause problems and closed it. Now just need to work out how to allow Neowin through it.. s1k3sT
I was having this same problem earlier, and I figured out it was the new version of nod32 (smart security) I was using. If you're using nod32 v3, I'd try uninstalling it and see if that helps.
M/\TT
I am using the new version of NOD32 as it happens.. I prefer version 2.7.. I've just fired off an email to Admuncher to see if they can shed any light on the situation. I'll see how it goes :)
M/\TT
Another update! They replied to my email telling me to update to the latest version which I did. I'm now able to open Neowin just fine, magic :)
