Xero
Is it just me or does anyone find the new triggers on the PS3 controller annoying as hell? specifically the R2, I find my finger gets really stiff when playing a racing game or something that uses it a lot. Its not bad short term, but long term I find the older one was much easier on the index finger.

andrew_f
I think it's obvious it's like marmite - lets just settle with, if you like it - use it :p It makes no difference to anybody else :)

stezo2k
I personally think that the PS2/PS3 controller works better for games that use the D-Pad because of the position of it, its in an odd position on the PS2/
The Teej
Am I the only person who doesn't mind any controller? I mean, if I go from playing Halo and jump straight into a game like Medal of Honour for PS2 its off, but it only takes a few minutes to get the feel of the PS2 controller. I've been playing games since the NES days so controller variations mean jack to me. I've played FPSes in so many different ways it's all a matter of knowing a) where the buttons are and b) what the buttons do. Besides, every controller (bar MP3s setup, and even then...) bows down to the Keyboard/Mouse setup :p
JadeHare
I can't really see what the dude did without reading the thread, but I gather he chucked controller-s sticks in a sixaxis  I have the silicon caps on that site's review here: PS3 Controller Analog Stick Silicon Cap. I use those analog stick caps you often come across now. It comes with 10 caps (5 sets of different ones to try out) and I got the bundle with the plastic case for my old sixaxis which is not fitted with caps. I tried it with both on and the silicon decreased the stick range in combination with the case so for example my Nathan Drake wouldn't run. I hope it's clear: the protective controller case with caps doesn't work but I expected that from using Proporta sleeves for a long time. No complaints really. I think I ordered mine from there and it came fast with cheap shipping (divineo). These are not needed however, the PS3 controller is fine. Gfunk4life
i haven't used the PS3 DS, but i had used the PS2 and i don't like it at all. i cant hold the DS controller the "right way" i think I'm going to drop it. i would say this, for the 2d games the analog sticks placement for the DS is better then the xbox/360 controllers. Deaf Spacker
I play with controllers on the floor as I have difficulty holding them and manipulating my fingers to press buttons and sticks at the same time. I do prefer the 360 controller over the Dualshock as the sticks and button layout is easy for me to use because obviously the controller will be on the floor.
