JoHideo
Love the new full page zoom in Firefox 3, but gets annoying having to zoom in on every page. Is there some way to set a default that all pages will use?
GusValentine
I've always used FireFox, and I've always wished it would have full page zoom, which Opera and other customized browsers have always had. But, as of the latest build it still has no option to set the default zoom, even under the advanced/hidden configuration options: Type about:config in the address bar and hit Enter Type zoom in the Filter box (still no option for default zoom) MozillaZine About:config entries: http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries http://kb.mozillazine.org/Category:Preferences
JoHideo
Yeah, that's really just unacceptable, but I guess it's still in beta. Hopefully someone can make an extension that might enable default zoom levels
shakey_snake
I wouldn't think zoom is one of those things you would want to enabled all the time...
Victor V.
I wouldn't think zoom is one of those things you would want to enabled all the time... It is an option, some people just want it (reading from far or eye problem?) Well, why don't you guys check out in Mozilla's if there's someone up to coding that? Maybe they don't notice this and you'll lose when it steps out of beta.
shakey_snake
Wouldn't setting a minimum font size (options -> content -> Fonts and colors) or running a lower resolution be better solutions to those problems?
GusValentine
A larger font can often mess up web page layout so that it becomes unreadable. People who have LCD monitors, have to use them at their native/highest resolution (1680x1050 for a 22") or they might experience image/text corruption, things just look worse at lower than native resolutions on and LCD.
