Horrocks Veteran Posted December 5, 2007 Veteran Share Posted December 5, 2007 It's too dangerous to battle this alone. Take this:
RadishTM Veteran Posted December 5, 2007 Veteran Share Posted December 5, 2007  Get the latest Flash ActiveX install from Adobe's site, also get the uninstaller (this will also remove Firefox's version). Radish?
Bawx
Lol. Will do, thanks.
Bawx
Still crashes. WTFFFFFFFFFF. Obviously it's IE based. I really don't want to upgrade to IE7. :(
xDayan
Reinstall IE then or run it with out add-ons see if it still crashes
Bawx
I guess I'll install IE7, seems I have to. But a while ago, I went to Start > Log Off. And right before it logged out, an erro popped up with something about explorer.exe and it had a red circle and x. But it went away too quick. Then I logged back in, and Explorer crashes with no message. I just clean installed 2 days ago...
Bawx
IE7 installed, crashes fixed! ..whatever. Anyone know how to get rid of the Language Bar on the taskbar permanently, it always comes back when I install IE7.
Slimy
What do you mean by "it always comes back"? Right click taskbar > Toolbars > Language Bar
Evolution
Which version of flash are you running.... I found that the latest betas caused IE to crash, so I went back to the final releases and they were fine.

Bawx
I mean, I uncheck it from the Taskbar, then everytime I restart the computer, it comes back.
RadishTM Veteran Posted December 6, 2007 Veteran Share Posted December 6, 2007 That option I've showed you in the screenshot is system-wide. Radish?
Bawx
Well seems it didn't come back. Thanks :) One thing though that worries me. My computer felt like it's days were seriously numbered, until right after I installed IE7, it feels really nice and smooth again. Nothings going wrong. It's like Windows was making my system all screwed up, forcing me to install IE7. Kind of like blackmail. They have control off me!
RadishTM Veteran Posted December 6, 2007 Veteran Share Posted December 6, 2007 IE7 is not so bad, runs pretty well here but Firefox is my default browser. Radish?
Bawx
Well, I was doing something today, running a game or something, went to Youtube, and bang, Explorer crash. Tried again a momnet ago, and Youtube crashes again now. This is bull****. I ****ed.

Bawx
Yeah I've updated flash. Here's the error report for when it crashes Youtube, anything I can do with this information?
RadishTM Veteran Posted December 8, 2007 Veteran Share Posted December 8, 2007 Err, you have malware according to that .DLL that caused the crash. http://www.prevx.com/filenames/75507957403...B1111P.DLL.html Radish?
Bawx
Well Ad-aware didn't find it, should I just do a Search on my computer and delete it manually?
RadishTM Veteran Posted December 8, 2007 Veteran Share Posted December 8, 2007 I suggest you install Spybot alongside Ad-Aware. And run them in Safe Mode. Radish?
