Bawx
Well I googled that dll file, found a forum, tons of info on system cleaning, used a bunch of stuff, HostX something, ComboFix, made some .txt files, after all said and done the file was the only bad thing on my computer, and it was deleted. I can already feel it running faster (opening Explorer windows increased a lot). Watching Youtube videos now, no crashing! Hope to God it stays this way this time. Cliff Joffrion
Everytime I go to watch a new video on youtube, I get a "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and must close." What could be causeing this? Flash player? I'm using Maxthon 2.0.5.7845 btw. It crashes with IE 6 too.Just noticed, doesn't happen with Firefox I had the same problem and fixed it by loading Flash ActiveX. You can find it on the Adobe website. XPGoD
It took a popular website to crash until it was noticed. I always suggest 2 important tools.... Process Explorer NT (I use this to answer really difficult Microsoft questions) TCPView They can find ANYTHING.... and I mean ANYTHING... With the right knowhow, you can detect and get to know your system really fast. It's good to research your main processes and I also find this healthy in light of my clients... Image a machine and just sit around and watch Process Explorer... you'll see what is and is not supposed to be running. The rules generally are... watch winlogon.exe, explorer.exe, and svchost.exe, those are the main hooking executables that dll's attach handles to. If it has its own process... it's gonna be like lsasrv.exe... which, once you learn is really lsass.exe... View the Properties of the exe's and then select the THREADS tab... in there is every dll making a call function for something... You can kill specific things and trick the system to do some really neat things!

ViperAFK
Still crashes. WTFFFFFFFFFF. Obviously it's IE based. I really don't want to upgrade to IE7. :( Why the hell not!! IE7 is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than IE6 in every way, and much more secure.
