Tirux
Hello, I am trying to use my Samsung 931bw HDCP monitor for my PS3 so I bought a cheap HDMI/DVI cable. However, I only receive blank screen. I tried configuring it by Video Output Settings and by resetting the PS3 but no luck. I am not sure what's wrong. I found out I have a DVI single link cable, and some stores sells DVI dual link cables. Do I perhaps need a dual link cable to connect my PS3? I also noticed that my monitor does indeed find signal whenever I connect my HDMI/DVI single link cable. Finally, I have read somewhere around the internet that some HDMI/DVI cables does not support HDCP, is that true?
dreamsINdigital
While the PS3 is off, press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep. If you still don't get a picture after doing this, there's probably something wrong with your cable.
