+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted December 11, 2007 Subscriber² Share Posted December 11, 2007 The all-seeing PS3 card battling title Eye of Judgement uses the included PlayStation Eye camera to recognize cards and bring amazing animations to the palm of your hand. It's a novel idea and a nerdy delight, but what happens when the power goes out? No worries, Tyler Tinsley has you covered with his tabletop adaption of Eye of Judgement.Tinsley wanted to see if he could take the on-screen action of Eye of Judgement and roll it backwards to a table top trading card game. The end result of this experiment is a printable PDF file, and it includes everything you'd need to play Eye of Judgement, sans PS3. Just like the video game the field tiles flip to change element. The field tiles also have health meters so you can keep track of each monsters health without using handfulls of tokens. Tokens that keep track of the health are also colored to match each player so you will never be confused as to who?s card is who?s, along with separate energy trackers and reversible dodge/invisible tokens. Five pages are to be printed out on card stock, assembled, and then glued together to make a sturdy, portable card gaming solution. Visit Tyler Tinsley's page for the PDF and instructions. [Thanks, Austen] Source: http://www.destructoid.com/play-eye-of-jud...ary-58959.phtml This seperates the "men" from the real "geeks&qu:p; :p

Spartan_X
I thought they had measures to avoid cheating? That's what I heard pre-release.How are cheaters cheating? :( EOJ has a feature where you can register your decks, it has the started deck already configured but you can add more decks as you get more cards for special battle conditions. in order to register your new deck all you have to do is show the cards to the eye and it will scan the cards into the system and then you can go nuts with your brand new kick ass deck. what people do is download the images of the cards from the internet, print them out and then scan the cards...
SnowRanger13
Woah, what a let down (N)Shame. So true. I wonder if they could patch this and somehow make it detect counterfeits better. I'd buy it if they did that.
