I have a canadian freind on the other hand who doesn't even know the capital of canada and im not kidding. I know a person in the UK who thinks UK stands for United Knights. And a person in California that thinks washington DC is a state. SO there are stupid people all over. However, there has always been a canada/usa bashing thing going around for as long as I can remember, but we still somehow tolerate each other. Ask people form other countries what the hardest language to learn is, they'll probably tell you it's english. As far as the american kids being as smart as the japanese kids, true, before they go to school. Japan (supposedly) has more of a strict learning structure than america. Now, it really isn't the americans that are stupid, it is usually the American Government, since they represent the whole USA. Most of our citizens are alot smarter than anybody working in the government.
