+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted December 14, 2007 Subscriber² Share Posted December 14, 2007 Don't have a credit card? Want to purchase things on the PLAYSTATION Store? No worries. Now you have the PLAYSTATION Network card. The kind folks at SCEA sent us an early Christmas gift -- a card that's redeemable for PS3 and PSP purchases on the PLAYSTATION Store. No further details have been officially released, but rest assured that these cards will be readily available in retail stores in the future. GNRambo
I like how its actually a monetary (not sure if thats the right word) amount, unlike the stupid points system for XBL:MP
Demersynth
This is what I've hoped for since the day I bought my PS3 (which was actually a couple of days ago haha.)

soniqstylz
Wouldn't the smart plan be to have these out BEFORE Christmas?
WooSH
and the card design isnt too shabby either! plus this is a great idea :) you can buy things as an option, and dont have to pay just to play with other people who have the same console as you. edit: what denominations do they come as? I dont think its possible to buy things worth $20...unless you buy a full game or soemthing, most things are $7.99 and and well you would always have money left over, prompting you to buy yet another card...i think Microsoft did something like this with their point system. Jimmy0
This is a great idea - especially for younger players who don't have access to a credit card to use in the store.
