LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 set for September/October 2008

Sony's semi Official Three Speech blog indicates that LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 are coming out in September or October of next year. With these dates being so far away, anything can change but they should serve as a good rough indication.

quote:

If an official Sony blog told you when LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 were coming out, would you believe them? Here's your chance to test out that little conundrum. Three Speech have, amidst their 2008 preview of all things PS3, said that both games are due in Sep-Oct 2008. You'd think they'd be up-to-speed on those sort of things! Then again, they follow that up by saying GTAIV will be out in the same time period, so in the end, any decisions involving belief are up to you.

Long time away. I'm excited for Little Big Planet. I don't have high hopes for Killzone 2 but look forward to a demo and I hope that it can be a great exclusive like it's suppose to be.

Hope they come earlier, but one thing I would like to point out is threespeech ISN'T an official blog like say, the official playstation blog is :p

It is semi official, an informal means of communication for PlayStation. Importantly, we avoid censoring content here, so long as Three Speech is used constructively. We hope to create an environment that is balanced, open minded and intelligent, and that avoids the routine of fanboy warfare..

LBP will crush KZ2 by a long margin... ;) :p

Wow. I really thought both of them were nearing the end of the development cycle. Just another reason for me to wait on the PS3 (was looking forward to LBP. KZ2, not so much...).

At least Guerrilla dont need Killzone 2 to be the Halo killer they were aiming for... Master Chief will probably be dead of old age by the time this game comes out.

That made me LOL :p

LBP seemed like it was pretty much wrapped up in the pictures and videos shown. On top of it, it was supposed to be a simple yet addicting litle game. I wonder where such a massive delay came from. K2 is more understandable, even if the impression was given that it was close to being done.
