Photoshop Elements

Question

I just downloaded a trial copy of this program because I heard about I feature I could really use. I remember seeing a Call for Help episode where they cropped a person out of an image perfectly, but all he did was roughly outline the person. Does anyone know what tool does this? I've tried a few but none of them work like I saw on the show. Thx in advance.

Here's how in Photoshop:

Filter > Extract > Outline the person using the Pen Tool > dump the paint bucket inside the area you outlined > click OK > voila!

I assume it's the same thing in PS Elements. Hope this helped.

Thx, I'll try that out now.

Edit: I tried using this on a few pictures and it just didn't work...well at least not very well. The tool they used was to outline the person and crop it that way, just to let you know.
