0 skaife
I reckon it depends what youre using it for... eg if youre using it just for local testing machine (ie to learn php/databasing/etc) then id say its fine.. but if youre useing it to host a full blown site(s) (which i presume youre not), then a higher end machine may be needed, im not sure but there may be something about this in the online documentation as well... it seems to be pretty comprehensive... hey i mean i used mysql on my poopty little intel celeron 590 mhz 6GB 192mb ram 2-year-old laptop so go for it! [edit] lol... poopty :p [/edit]
0 Tim Dorr Veteran Posted January 22, 2003 Veteran Share Posted January 22, 2003 If it's for testing purposes and you can boot linux, then it's good enough to run MySQL :)
