Benjo85au
It wasn't funny, and I did not laugh and I found it boring and got up to level 6 before I gave up due to its lack of entertainment. Besides bring this thread back from the dead. Just thought I'd mention that ALOT of the entertainment value starts towards the end of the levels. Really try and get through it if you can, I think you'll find that you become more entertained as you progress. Regardz :)

funciona
Don't forget to play the advanced maps. Those are close to impossible :p I gotta admit, when that platform turned around that corner and started heading into the fire I looked at it and said "What the ****?!?!" If you did not see that end (or something similar) coming (your death), then wow you are a horrible gamer :p
That Guy Veteran Posted May 14, 2008 Veteran Share Posted May 14, 2008 Glad I only tried Portal: The First Slice (levels up to 15 I think) I found it too easy, and repetitive. Meh, each to their own I guess.

It must be uncomfortable to sit and play games with that bug in your ass ;)
deletedxyz
I just finished Portal for the first time after getting the time to install it from the Orange Box I got from Steam a few months ago. After all the hype about the delicious cake being a lie, I am quite letdown by all the rave reviews by everyone and most gaming sites. Portal was an average puzzle/adventure game. I guess people who really loved it are either Valve fan boys. It's unfortunate that I couldn't enjoy it as much. 7.5/
Slammers
I honestly never got more than halfway through it. I'm gonna give it another go after reading everyone say that it picks up after the halfway point.
Smashing Pumpkin
It was brilliant, absolutely awesome game, it really makes me smile when you see a really clever puzzle ina game and Valve do these very well. By no means a Valve fanboy, but Portal was fun, original, humerous and a cult hit.
deletedxyz
I honestly never got more than halfway through it. I'm gonna give it another go after reading everyone say that it picks up after the halfway point. It only takes around 3 hours to complete it if you take your time.
