J400uk Posted December 21, 2007 Share Posted December 21, 2007 I been playing arround with my computer and I swapped out my 250gb drive for a pair of 160gbs that i had sitting arround with the intent of raiding them to store my data and music etc. However the hardware raid controller wasnt compatible with them so I created a "software level raid" with them under vista disk management "stripped volume" option. All seems to be working well but I was just curious that if my C drive went kaputt and I had to reformat for whatever reason, would I loose all the data on the raid array as well?
