IE7 Vista SLOWNESS

Recommended Posts

Try: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset

Still happening. And I just reinstalled like 15-20 minutes ago. I also played with Smooth Scrolling in the settings and with it off, it made a difference but its still laggy scrolling through webpages. :(

Sounds like you need to update your display drivers.

I dunno IE7 is pretty crappy for me in Vista as well. Both on my laptop and desktop. I think IE just has really sucky scrolling. I think its normal, I really do.

IE's scrolling has been ****ty for me no matter what PC i've used it on, running XP or vista and even on powerful machines. Firefox's is alot better but opera's is definitely the best (Smooth as hell compared to ff and ie)

In Vista, IE7 does have a herky jerky thing going on at times. Turn off smooth scrolling in webpages and it should go away. Im not sure thats the exact one, but its within the first 5 selections in advanced windows preferences. I'm on XP at the moment so I cant quite remember.

IE has always had some sort of bug. Not to insult the browser or anything, but try Firefox, then you won't have to worry about such problems.

@Solardog - I like the sig.
