i hate the new nav bar in FF3

Glad to see I'm not the only one who hates it.

You can disable it by going to about:config, and changing browser.urlbar.richResults from True to False.

How? "2 or 3" in a Mozilla Discussion, pretty straightforward.

Not if you only check the Latest Forum Activity list at the top of each page, which I guess is what _X_ does.

Isnt a thread title supposed to give a clue to what it is?

Otherwise you could make one just called "A".

"Well ive used the letter A a few times, pretty straightforward"

I think that you're the only one in Mozilla (Gecko) forum that didn't understood what the numbers mean. if it makes you so angry that i didn't wrote "firefox 2 or firefox 3" you don't have to replay in this thread.

But, if you can find it in your heart to forgive me, if you try to understand the state i was in when i missed out the word firefox, I'd be happy to hear your comment regarding the topic. ;)

Try Opera! It's free, and has lots of features missing in Firefox. It's the only browser I like!

No, go away.

Have they fixed the huge memory leak FireFox has in FireFox 3?

I haven't seen many memory leaks in Firefox (I've only seen it start leaking memory while rendering a large page once), but it does have slightly better memory usage.

For the first time I have installed and actually USING firefox. I'm using FF 3 b2 and I'm pretty impressed.

In the past I have only used IE 7 since I have found FF to be a recource hog like no other. With version 3 b2 that has finally changed some. The only thing that irritates me is the looooong startup time for FF. With IE I just click the icon and it opens immidiately. With FF it takes several seconds for the window to appear. However it IS a beta and will hopefully get that fixed.

For now I'm very pleased with this version and I will probably make the switch when the RTM comes out permanently.
