Sam
My PS3 is connected atm to a 19" HDTV/Monitor. When connected HDMI->HDMI, picture is perfect, but some voices cannot be heard, eg the man talking at the start of Assassins Creed, or the warning message at the start of NFS: Carbon. It works perfectly when connected via scart. Is this more likely to be a problem with the console, the TV or the HDMI cable? Cheers.
Coldgunner
sounds like its trying to output voices through a centre speaker
Sam
Possible, but some voices are clear.
sn00pie
Put your audio settings on your PS3 to automatic, see if that helps?
Digitalx
make sure it's on 2.0 or stereo output in audio settings and not surround 5.1 +
sn00pie
When I put mine on 5.1 I lose some voices too but I don't understand why? I have a 5.1 system....
Sam
It was set on automatic, I changed it to manual and removed the 5.1 items, all is fine now :)
