+unabatedshagie Subscriber¹ Posted December 27, 2007 Subscriber¹ Share Posted December 27, 2007 Does anyone know of an extension that would hide the tooltip but allow it to be shown if for instance you held down the ctrl key when hovering over a link? Salgoth
Through about:config you can turn them off by changing browser.chrome.toolbar_tips from true to false. Don't know about adding keystroke activation - should be possible, just never heard of any that would do it. Why would you want to?
+unabatedshagie Subscriber¹ Posted December 30, 2007 Author Subscriber¹ Share Posted December 30, 2007 I know about the about:config option but as you say that removes them completely. I want to do this because it bugs me when I'm trying to read something and my mouse happens to hover over a link and the tooltip pops up, I would like to have it so that it only appears when I want it to.
