goodcase Posted December 30, 2007 Share Posted December 30, 2007 Hey, I just got this TV from my dad 2 weeks ago or so. Its a 44" DLP model "44NHM84" During start up it is normal for the TV's LED to blink and the lamp to kick in. However, it intermittently doesn't start up. The TV will make all the normal starup sounds but the lamp wont turn on. This leads me to believe that the Lamp needs replacement, however before I go and spend $200 on a new lamp is there anything else that this may be? I'm kind of iffy on replacing the lamp because it would do it for a little bit but then the TV would startup fine and run fine for hours. However the next time you turn the TV on it wont turn on...and then if you're lucky it will turn on again the next time you try to turn it on. I would call toshiba but they're closed untill monday and probably longer with new years being then. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 just call them up or email them and claim warrantly. **** spending money on the lamps. cause it aint your fualt if it doesnt ****ing start up. dw . toshiba will fix the problem up.
