That

The other night, Lono and I had to make a late night run to Walmart to get some medicine for his daughter, and while he was searching for the right medicinal concoction, this caught my eye.

Can you guess what it is you are looking at? Here’s a closer shot of the hilarity, after the jump.

Obviously Microsoft is paying big money for these endcap displays, and I can’t help but feel they might have a problem with this. Alex and I have decided that at least one misguided parent or relative, is going to see the Xbox logo, and pick up a controller for the wrong system.

Given the sales numbers for the PS3, I can’t guess I blame Walmart for doing ANYTHING to unload all of those extra Sixaxis Controllers.

Seriously though, this is why I never ask a Walmart representative about a new game. It would be like asking a homeless person for their opinion on adjustable rate mortgages.

In any event, when we pointed out the problem with the display, a store representative told us that they came from Microsoft that way. Somehow…. I just really doubt that.

I doubt that as well, I think someones a complete noob in Walmart, or are trying to play a practical "joke" :/

I just hope none of the casual market gamers who have a 360 bought one of these :pinch:

ps. Remember guys, while serious in a sense, this is a bit of a "harmless" laugh - No need to somehow turn this into a war between consoles!

Seriously - think of how often around the holidays you see someone's poor clueless grandmother walking around a store's electronics department with a list from a grandkid and a confused look on her face, just turning herself over to any employee who will find an item from the list and put it in her cart. There's no telling what she'd end up with at this walmart!

hhm... was it a blind person that set that up?

'cause unless it's a joke... the individual items clearly say PlayStation3...

I mean... how did a manager or anyone else who works there NOT spot this??

I would've started removing the PS3 controller and putting the 360 ones in. If an employee asked me what I was doing I'd just say "Your job"

This is pretty funny... Somebody's going to be yelled at by Microsoft.

And then you'd be kicked out :p

C'mon, Audioboxer. This clearly means that the PS3 controllers were so embarassed at being associated with such a "loser" console that they jumped off their shelf to snuggle in the warm success of the Xbox 360. ;)

Not until I'd demanded my due payment for doing their job for them! :p

Then I'd be kicked out and banned
