Mailde
Hi Guys ! Is this very hard to do ? I have some favorite old 1.5 themes (they will never be updated fpr 2.0), can I learn how to do it for private use only ? Any links or tutorials ? The_Decryptor Veteran Posted January 4, 2008 Veteran Share Posted January 4, 2008 I can't see it being that hard, it would only be smallish changes, first thing you have to do is edit the install.rdf file to enable it to run on FX2, then start fixing errors. And there's nothing wrong with modding stuff for private use, it only becomes an "issue" if you release the changes.

Thank you, The_Decryptor I`m talking about this theme for FF/TB, the TB is available for 1.0 and 1.5 but not yet for 2.0 http://www.floydster.com/mozilla/ Maybe someone can help me what I have to edit ? night_stalker_z
In the install.rdf, there should be a <em:maxversion> tag. Change the value in there to 2.0.* and it should work. There may be some things which are not themed though.
