Waylander
what games are worth playing on psp? i read the best of 2007 topic that was posted and a few of them looked interesting but what about other 2007 or older titles? i have been playing syphon filter: logans shadow and am near the end now, its a good game let down at times by bad controls, i also have killzone liberation and wipeout pulse but have not started them yet. one other game that interest me is me and my katamari, is it any different from we  katamari on ps2? +Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted January 5, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted January 5, 2008 I know this is a bit blunt, but im away to watch something on TV and don't have time to type up all my recs, Go here http://uk.psp.ign.com/index/reviews.html and then sort the list by 9 first of all, then 8, then 7 and cherry pick games you like the sound of  It DOES help out, although im not trying to say you couldn't look up reviews yourself ;) Ill come back with some of my own personal recs later! Waylander
i don't really have much faith in review sites/games magazines to deliver unbiased reviews (or reviews that were not bought full stop) if a game takes my interest i usually check out metacritic and maybe a gametrailers video review if i can find one without much effort but i would much rather hear the opinions of people who actually played the game/s. while this makes me uninformed on the latest and greatest news one good side effect is i avoid exessive hype that surrounds some games. ichi
one other game that interest me is me and my katamari, is it any different from we  katamari on ps2? It's different, but then again there are only so many ways of rolling a katamari over random objects. Controls feel a bit weird until you get used to them. Some (~old) games I've found to be quite fun: - Monster Hunter and MH2: specially fun when playing coop with friends. The kind of game you either love or hate. - Metal Gear Ac!d and MGA2: MGS meets Magic. Lots of MGS fans despise them, I enjoyed both of them a lot. - Tony Hawk Underground Remix - Ultimate Ghost 'n Goblins: not as hard as the original, but close. Requires some patience. - Dungeon Siege Throne of Agony: probably the best hack&slash for the PSP, so far. You might find it a bit too easy depending on what character you play. And you can play it coop, which I haven't tried yet but should be fun. - Chili con Carnage: similar to the PS2 version. They've changed lots of things but still might only be worth playing if you don't have the other one already. - GTA VCS: same as above, worth playing if you didn't beat it already on PS2 (it's not _exactly_ VC, but I think you'd have to be really into GTA to be willing to play both).
