My crazy school

Question

I was at school and I went to browse to my webserver through my .cjb.net address linking to my IP. It said "SITE blocked due to content of pornography." I built my site and it is just a blue background with links to such sites as neowin, ibelite, etc (all tech sites). It has a clock in the corner too... but i don't see how this is pornograhy. There is none even on my computer. So what could be the problem? Could it just be that I am using a .cjb.net address, b/c it is an IP, I dunno.

My schools content filter likes to block cloaked redirects. That may be the problem.

thanks, that might be it. but still, the reason is stupid, i will have to talk to the admin of our school

i had the same problem at school, i asked them why and they said there were too many individual sites to block, so they blocked the cjb.net address. They also blocked all of spaceports which hosted my account

Most schools are locked down so u can't run regedits. And they surely are locked down so that every user isn't an admin, you gotta be admin to install IE6 :)

yea im in the same school as JK1150, and we have novell with windows 98. They restrict the hell out of us, but idk how they blocked his addy b/c mine works. Its cjb.net too, however it points to a Comcast IP, not a RCN IP, like John's. Im gonna try the new admin password i leaned later on.
