TheRealDave
I have a 4gb memory stick, no problems at all. Homebrews have problems with fake memory sticks, if he is using homebrew he best check out his stick :p
EnzoFX
i believe when it comes to flash media, they do have limits. for example SD cards have a 2gb limit, only SD-HC? cards offer bigger sizes, which require compatible slots. 4gb could very well be the limit, or did i hear of an 8gb one once? Bhav
They just announced 16GB pro duos - apparently they're compatible with PSP too! ($300 though, so probably not compatible with most people's bank accounts lol)

Glassed Silver
theoretically 32GB is possible as for the stick's side... (due to the file system) the PSP itself might work with some cards and some not that are larger than whats guaranteed to work with it. SnowRanger13
I think it was Firmware 2.8 that added support for memory sticks over 4GB (I believe up to 32GB). Sony just announced a 16GB that will be released in March, first time it goes on sale for $150 I'll be buying one :p.
