Elliot B.
Can anyone recommend a spellchecker? The one that comes with Firefox doesn't check the spelling in most forms and I have installed it on many systems, always the same. Any recommendations for alternate extensions? atlef
You can always right-click in the boxes, and tell firefox to spell check, but there is no memory or options to make it do so every time. Atlef.

I never noticed it not working in any when I was using Firefox 2.0.
Elliot B.
Which forms doesn't it work with? I never noticed it not working in any when I was using Firefox 2.0. I just found out, there were no dictionaries installed! At least one should be installed by default (and no, there isn't one installed by default) I am still having to manually ask it to spellcheck fields, though :/ Edited January 7, 2008 by King Mustard
supernova_00
there is an about:config entry that can make it check any input field (very annoying though). I can't remember what it is now so just filter for spell and change it to like 1 or

primexx
the built in spell checker doe remember your settings, and it does come with a default dictionary. although the dictionary isn't exactly great.
