Cloud Constructors
It was bought from EB Games back in November. Seller claims 10/10 mint condition and is offering me it for $400 CAD with Resistance. I will try to get it for $380 nonetheless when I call him back. Is this a good deal for the 60GB? Don't the 60GBs break down more often than the other versions? DOH - please edit topic mods
Coldgunner
you could go higher, the older 60gb NTSC models are highly sought after due to their full backwards compatibility

Coldgunner
I could go higher? I am the buyer oops, misread it, definitely a good buy, works out to ?190 here, our UK models are ?250-?300 for a new 40gb. go for it
Cloud Constructors
I was gonna wait till Dual Shock 3 came out or price drops I might go for it if he gives it to me for $380 with the game for 60GB
SnowRanger13
The failure rate on PS3s is less then 1%.. I think it was said to be 0.54% The 60GB are the older model but they have not had any major problem. The 60GB works better with a few PS2 games then the 80GB. +StevoFC MVC Posted January 9, 2008 MVC Share Posted January 9, 2008 I love the new 40gb ones. runs really cool and quiet compared to the other models. but for the price you are getting a good deal.
sn00pie
"most" 60gb PS3's are significantly louder then the new 40gb, just so you know
iconboy
that a good deal and the older 60 gigs are harder to come by! i would snap it up! but i would also advise not to haggle too much over $20 or you might lose the deal, that happened to me with a few 360s before i finally broke down and just bought a new one (best decision i ever made). Ayepecks
If you want a PS3 and if it really is in mint condition without any problems it's a good deal. Resistance is definitely a good game -- the PS3's current best, IMO.
